hi everyone, just had a few questions about going to Nepal next May 09:
Has anyone used %26#39;corsa nepal%26#39; or %26#39;Zen adventure holidays%26#39;? Or can anyone recommend any other local agencies? Nothing too expensive (i%26#39;m from Australia and US exchange rate is pretty bad at moment). I want to book beforehand as this is my first time travelling alone and want a bit of a base to get me started.
Also i%26#39;m a solo female traveller - is anyone going around may 12th %26#39;09%26#39; that needs a trekking partner?
Im also plannin on getting a bus to Pokhara (is this hard to organise? cost?) but want to stop o/n on way in Bandipur. Lonely Planet says you get off bus around Dumre on Prithvi Hwy then hire jeeps to take you into Bandipur? I then presume i can get transportation back out to the highway to get back on bus to continue to Bandipur? Is this correct thinking or even do-able? Also how safe is it for a female (22y.o.) traveller on bus alone?
Thanks in advance for any replies
Cheers, Ash.
EBC/Pokhara questions?
Hi Ash,
I don%26#39;t have any idea about the company which you mentioned above but I can give you the some information about other travel agency where I had booked.
I just come back from trek of Annapurna around.
I had seen the one point the middle of Kathmandu to Pokhara called Damauli,my guide suggested me there is way to go Bandipur. So in my experience you can go from their one bus then you have to change another to the Bandipur.
I found Nepal is a safe destination for all travelrs so even female travelers there is always safe no more things.I hope no need to worry about.
I read the terms and condition of this forum, thats why I can not give you the full info of the company which I booked,I got so reasonable price from them than others so if you to get their infor contact me in peter.smith17@yahoo.com.ca
I will provide you more my experince and also them.
Cheers,have a good time.
Peter,Canada
