EBC and Gokyo Lakes

Hi there,

I%26#39;m in the very early stages of planning a trip to Everest Base Camp (hopefully April 2010). At this stage I%26#39;m just looking to find a tour company that offers an itinerary I like. I would really love to do a trip that combined a trek to EBC as well as some hiking around Gokyo Lakes.

I have found a trip that looks like what I%26#39;m after with a company called Peregrine. Has anybody got any experience of this company for trekking in Nepal? Or can someone recommend another company that might have a similar sort of tour of EBC and Gokyo Lakes?

I just back from Nepal trip and i done the trekking with outfitter Nepal Trekking, so They might organise trip, you may inquiry for outfitter Nepal and you can find them on google.

Peregrine has been around for many years. I ahve never used them but based on their longivity, assume they rate well.

I might also pose a different option, a personal trip where you are the only client. My guide has formed his own company now (goverment regulations require you to use a company versus when we could just go in and hire a guide and leave on a trek).

I hired Binod for 20 days in the Annapurna region, and then 2 more weeks around Pokhara and Chitwan. I ahve other references for him if interested
