My husband and I will be in Kathmandu from Feb 28 till March 6, 2009. We would like to do some trekking and see the mountains. Where would you recommend for us to go in this short period? We are 50 but feel like 30!!

I think aprx 5 days you can choose short treks near Kathmandu valley.
May be valley ridge treks or Nagarkot Chisapani treks.
