Nepal in December

My wife and I will be in India for three weeks until mid December and are thinking of heading into Nepal from there. Can anyone give me some information about whether it will be too cold to visit Nepal then? What is the best season to travel there?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Nepal in December

It will be cold, especially in the evenings but it won%26#39;t be very cold. In Kathmandu the minimum temperature will be around zero degree celsius. There will be fog in the morning but it will clear out late in the morning.

Good question .Really you need to decide first India is not secret for traveling .come to Nepal for More fantastic tour first.Nepal Temperature is not very cold in morning and evening time but day time it is OK. if you going mountings area it is defensively cold but for Nepal it is ok.

Returned yesterday from Nepal. Kathmandu weather warm by day, ok to sit out wearing a light fleece jacket in the evening.

Trekked into the Khumbu - daytime weather fine for t-shirt and light trousers, but cold once the sun went down

Above 4000 metres very cold at night !

Welocme to Himalayan country Nepal. Yes in december its geting cold but not its is not freesing . Only you need some warm cloths and sunsine will be a bit late in kathmandu and around low area there might be fuggy but mountain will be very nice to see. ALso you cna do small hiking around mountain jor around your specila interest. In Mountain december and Januay is Snow season. I hope you enjoy wiht Nepal nature and happy people.
