have heard that Chitwan is closed after some horrible person took a horn off a rhino( pretty mad heY ) we have seen a pic of this poodr rhino and he looks distressed www.chinadaily.com

- just wondered whats the score in the area !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read news on the newspaper that the offices of the agencies working on conservation area have been padlocked. I have not heard of shutdowns in the Chitwan area.

But there was another strike in the Terai region for some political resaons and that have been withdrawn now.

If you are planning to travel to Chitwan, as per the information available at the moment, I would advise you not to cancel your trip.
