HELP PLEASE !!! need guide and driver, and inteary help!!

Hello!

My husband and I are planning a 4 night 5 day stay in KTM this Febuary.

This is what we are planning:

D1 arrive

D2 - KTM sightseeing: Pushupatinath, Bodthnath, Swayambharnath, Durbar SQ , Patan - overnight KTM

D3 - bhaktapur, nagarkot - overnight nagarkot

D4nagarkot back to KTM - PM at leisure

D5 mountain flight in am, depart im pm

QUESTIONS:

essentially we need a guide for KTM sights and trip to Bhaktapur and Nagarkot;

we also need a driver/taxi

- Where can we find a guide and driver for a reasonable price? i.e guide 10-12 us day, taxi full day 1000-1500ruppees

-can anyone please recommend a reputuable KTM travel agency in/around Thamel that will not rip us off ? is it ok to make travel plans once we get there?

-what is the best way to book mountain flights? what airlines do you recommend?

-any recommendations for nice, clean, safe hotel with hot water and heating for approx 20 us/night double occupancy in KTM and Nagarkot?

-any places we must see in our limited time that i am missing? i.e dulikhel worth visitng even though we are going to nagarkot?

Please help - i am going out of my mind trying to plan this trip!!

I%26#39;m from Malaysia and I%26#39;ve just come back on 21 DEc from KTM and was also treking in the Himalayan Region and Annapurna region. I had the best travel agent!! All I did was told them what I wanted and they planned everything for me. The travel agent is called Asian Adventure Trek and Expeditionin Thamel, KTM. I booked everything through their web side and was really impressed with them. You can check out their webside at www.asiantreks.com.

There were dif. ocasions where they went the extra mile to help us even when it was not required. For example...on the morning of our flight to Lukla (Himalayan region)our digital camera jammed and when I told Mr B.B. Suyal (the Agency Director), he immediately sent one of his staff to the airport with his digital camera for us to use in the mountains. I%26#39;ve never had a travel agency who would go to that extend to help me! Another ocasion was while we were supposed to have a full day sight-seeing around KTM... I fell sick and could only managed to see a few places in KTM. The agent was kind enough to set a later date for us just to finish the other places of interest with no extra charge. I find the tour agent very hest, sincere with a personal touch.

I would think that since you%26#39;re going with your husband...don%26#39;t join a group. @ of you with the guide and porter(if treking) is just great company.
