Weather in End of May

Hi,

I am planning to have a family trip to in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Nagarkot during the 4th week of May.

Can anyone tell me if rain will already start that time? What will be the temperature like in these locations (basically do we need to carry woollen clothes :))?

Also I have read about ';mountain flight';. Can anyone tell me whether it is worth the money?

The weather will be hot and humid at that time. The monsoon season will not start at that time - will start from around mid June. But there might be some pre monsoon rain at that time.

You need not carry woollen clothes at that time but having a light jacket might help in case of unexpected weather.

The mountain flight is an easy way to have a good view of the Everest and other mountains at that region. It will be in the morning and you will probably like the morning atmosphere as well as the mountains. I have not personally taken the flight but have not heard anyone say that they did not enjoy the experience.
