Hi,

It will be middle range of time treks in Nepal. You didn%26#39;t clearly wrote which trek you want to do.

Medical advice recommends that you are protected against tetanus, typhoid, hepatitis B, diptheria, polio.

It%26#39;s worth flying at least one way (KTM - Pokhara or back) as the mountain views are superb (try to sit on the right if flying out from KTM). Indeed unless you are a fan of frenetic, hectic road journeys I%26#39;d recommend flying both ways !

In both towns there%26#39;s a huge variety of eating houses. Recently dined at the Thamel Garden (or possibly %26#39;Thamel House%26#39;?) restaurant, an excellent Newari dinner. Otherwise the Ktoo in KTM does a good steak, and Everest Steak House is good.

In terms of things to do, as well as the obvious KTM highlights (Durbar Square, Bodinath, Swayambunath, Pushupatinath, Dhurbar Square Pathan), I%26#39;d recommend a trip to Bhaktapur, preferably staying overnight. The atmosphere in the central, traffic-free squares is magical. We stayed at the Bhadgaon Guest House, and were well satisfied.

An overnight at Nagarkot is also good, watching sunset and sunrise over the distant mountains (provided that they are cloud-free !)

From Pokhara it%26#39;s worth taking a taxi to Saragkot for a great view of the Annapurnas. You might also consider a day of dabbling in the Scottish sport of golf ? There are courses in KTM and outside Pokhara . . .

Depending on how not-so-young you are there%26#39;s always a short trek !

Thank you alan for your prompt reply, whilst over the age of serious trekking, ive bin advised by my son whose travelled extensively in Nepal that its a country i must visit,, we intend to.Spending 21 days with a short sojourn in new delhi pre and post.whats ur most fav restuarant in both places,, no recriminations lol. greetings from scotland

You might expect some rainfall during this season. But the amount and strength of rainfall will be waning. Prepare yourself for the rain.
