My daughter is traveling to Nepal in April for 8 weeks. She will be teaching English at a monastery with the vlounteer company called i to i. This is her first trip anywhere and I am happy for her but also worried to death! I am turning to the wisdom of the tripadvisor community to help us sort through some of the questions we have....Such as what kind of currency should she carry, debit card, credit card cash? She will be staying in a hostel for the 5 weeks that she will be volunteering, are they safe?
From what we haved learned on the web, there are no must have vaccinations that she must get, but there are recomdations (pills) Does she need a visa to stay in Nepal? Isn%26#39;t someone (like a mom) I could hire to meet her and guild her through all this and keep her safe? (I%26#39;m joking!)(sorta)HELP!
