Hi,
Has anyone used NEAT adventures? I met a couple who had just returned from EBC trek and highly recommended them.
Another company has recommended that I go trekking in September rather than October to avoid the hordes of trekkers in the peak. Am I likely not to get clear weather and is there any other reason not to go in September (it would suit me better to go then than later).

Do you have to go then?
I have travelled to Everest region twice with World Expeditions - highly recommended.
Back in 2004 was mid Feb - March, the first trip of the year. Great as not many people around. We were the first group everywhere and only encounteed a couple of other groups the whole time. It was cold (up to -25 at night) but days were not too bad.
in 2006 I went April May, was warmer of course but we got a lot of unseasonal snow.
Advantage of weather at this time is it very clear, no haze and usually no rain or snow.
I have not been in Oct / Nov but feel strongly that one of the great things about the region is th remoteness which is spoilt by too many people.
Dont know NEAT so cant help on that one sorry.
