Hi,
on the 17th of March we are going to Nepal for couple of days. We%26#39;re planning to do the very short 3-day-trek recommended in the %26#39;Lonely Planet%26#39; book, Phedi-Tolka-Ghandruk-Nayapul.
Have anyone done this trek? Any experience or recommendations?
We%26#39;ve heard that there are a lot of thefts there. Is it true?
Thanks in advance for you help.
3 days trek in the Pokhara region
Hello Friend,
This is Upendra Duwadi from Kathmandu, Nepal. I am a professional %26#39;A Grade%26#39; trekking guide to mountains of Nepal. First of all I would you to tell you congratulation about your trip to Nepal.
Since sometimes as a trekking guide I am providing some knowledges to people who are interested to Nepal. As you have heard this trek is really one of the best trek but I want to suggest you one more thing that if you have one more day then please do Ghorepani Trek. The trek you are talking about is best but if you want to do best of the best then Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is really better one.
And second thing you heard about theifs of Nepal is not completely true but sometimes it can be true and can happen with you too. So, my suggestion is hire a government licensed trekking guide so that you will feel safe. Try to make your trip safe than making it cheap. If you need further informations then please contact in my email address. Its theupendra@gmail.com
Best of luck for your Nepal trip.
Best Regards,
Upendra Duwadi
