Does anyone know when the electricity blackouts are supposed to end? We are headed to Nepal in July 2009 to do some nonprofit work and whether or not we have electricity will impact how we put together our presentations. Thanks!
Electricity situation
Nepal%26#39;s black out is here to stay for some foreseeable future, at least another five years. However, this problem exists for around half of the year when there is less water flowing in the rivers. There will be a breathing space between mid June to mid November when there is significantly more water flowing in the river - during and immediately after the monsoon season. So, the black out situation won%26#39;t be as bad as it is at the moment. However, we may see some blackouts of an hour or two, especially during the nights on these times.
