I need some advice from the Nepal experts. I%26#39;ll have 6 nights/5 full days in late June. Is it worth going to Nepal for such a short time? Best to stay only in Kathmandu or split the time up? I%26#39;m still in the planning stages, so welcome any and all suggestions. Thanks!
6 Nights in June - Itinerary Suggestions
Hi, 5days is too short for a trip to Nepal. but if this is all you have, then cover Kathmandu %26amp; Nagarkot/ Dhulikhel. In kathmandu you can visit a few popular heritage sites - Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudanath, Swayambunath, Pashupatinath.
from the above %26#39;cultural tour%26#39;, you can move to about 30-35km east of kathmandu - Nagarkot Hillstation, or Dhulikhel for country side. Here you get fresh air, snow mountain view, take a village walk to see the local lifestyle.
If you can make it 8-10days, then go to Pokhara. very nice place.
6 Nights in June - Itinerary Suggestions
You might get alot of rain in June, as it will be monsoon.
My friend,
As a Professional trekking guide I am giving suggestions to lots of people from abroad. I think if you want to do a short trek then its better to do a trek near kathmandu may be Chisapani - Nagarkot Trekking for 3 full days.
Have a nice time.

You could do quite a lot in these days as well. You could try the combination of Kathmandu, Nagarkot or Dhulikhel, and Pokhara for your trip. If you are landing in the afternoon, then you could possible head to Nagarkot or Dhulikhel. Spend the night there and go to Bhaktapur Durbar Square for the cultural sightseeing. Spend most of the afternoon there and you could stay the night in Kathmandu.
Then visit around the cultural and religious centers in Kathmandu like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bodhnath, Swayambhu, Pashupatinath. You could go to Pokhara on the third day. Spend one night in Pokhara and return to Kathmandu on the afternoon. Spend the remaining time in Kathmandu visiting those places and if time permits, then you can also visit Budhanilkantha Temple, Dakshinkali Temple as well.
Hello Friend,
How are you doing?
First of all I like to say you Best of luck for your trip from my side. Yeah, obviously 5/6 days are not enough and even 2/3 month is also not enough to visit Nepal but if you are coming then the visit can be worthful.
Its not clear in your message that what you want to do in Nepal? Tour or rafting or trekking or other activities? Please write me email what you want to do then I will write you in detail what you can do in Nepal.
Have a nice day and again best of Luck for your Nepal trip.
