Hi,
The only time I have open to go to Nepal is late June to early Aug. Is this the worst time possaible to visit. Will the weather be a nightmare?
I was hoping to do the trecks and I heard they can be closed at this time
Any advice would be great thanks
when to go?? please help
Dear Neapl Lovers,
To visit the Nepal always good i dont think worst. But, TO do normal trekking in nepal this time is not that much good because of bad weather. Must of time cloudy and rain. But there are soem area which is very good for trekking this time. Loke Mustang there are not much monsoon weather is good and dry or Dolpa also good but the cost is quite expensive.
when to go?? please help
It is the start of the monsoon season and there will be rain. But it does not mean that it will rain all the time. You might be able to enjoy the scenery around. The treks won%26#39;t be closed but it is not the ideal time to trek (off season)
As the previous poster suggested, trekking in the rain shadow areas like Upper Mustang and Dolpo receive less rain and you might want to try those trekking areas. But the costs would be a bit higher as they require trekking permits. You can try the Jomsom trek, Langtang and Helambu treks as well. These three treks do not need trekking permits.
