Kathmandu this weekend

Hi everyone -

I am going to Kathmandu with a group of 4 people this weekend. We arrive Friday afternoon and come back Sunday afternoon. Does anyone have advice on must sees? Also, can you tell me how long the visa process at the airport takes? We will be taking PP photos and a completed form.

If you have completed forms, you might need to spend around half and hour for the visa process.

Try the mountain flight to the Everest in one of the morning through one of the private airlines - Buddha Air (http://buddhaair.com), Yeti Airlines (http://yetiairlines.com), Agni Air (http://www.agniair.com/).

Other things to see would be visiting the Durbar Square of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhu and Bodhnath stupas in Kathmandu. If you have time, visit the hill top tourist town of Nagarkot for a overnight stay for panoramic view and early sunrise.
