Is is a good time to trek from apil 6 th...having looked at companies that organise treks from the uk..none of them go in april...makes m think that the weather is not good....any tips??

I hiked the EBC last year from mid-April to May 1 and it was glorious. We had sunshine everyday and it was crisp and beautiful weather, but did get a little cold at night, espeically at higher elevations. I had no complaints. By early May, though, the rain had begun to fall in Kathmandu, as monsoon season was about to begin. Just go and have no worries. If you cannot find a company you are comfortable with, I can recommend my guide. He was quite funny and we still e-mail each other often.
